What you'll be doing:
- Maintenance and validation of complex electrical/mechanical equipment
- Assisting with maintenance reviews and providing technical advice
- Provide support service to business products under construction and site facilities customers
- Assist with the development of, and where appropriate produce documentation to the required standard
- Always liaise with other departments and contractors as appropriate fostering appropriate customer relations
- Provide on the job training, mentoring and development for other employees
- Assist with the development and implementation of innovative process solutions
- Conducting root cause analysis for breakdown resolution
Your skills and experiences:
Essential
- HNC (or equivalent) in relevant engineering background (Electrical, Mechanical)
- Previous experience in a similar role in an industrial or commercial environment
Desirable
- Previous experience with maintenance of existing site and facilities, plant, equipment and Infrastructure
- Demonstrate the ability to understand new systems

The Site, Infrastructure & Facilities Team:
BAE Systems' Site, Infrastructure & Facilities (SIF) team plays a pivotal role in supporting the company's operations across various sites in the UK. The team's responsibilities encompass a wide range of activities aimed at maintaining and enhancing the infrastructure that underpins BAE Systems' operations. The SIF team is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and management of facilities, ensuring they meet operational requirements and comply with safety and environmental standards. This includes managing both hard and soft services to support the delivery of larger projects.
