Responsible for the set-up and operation of our SMD equipment.
Working hours: 37 hours per week: Monday – Thursday 07:45am - 16:15pm (half-hour lunch), Friday – 07:45am – 12:45pm (no lunch)
Additional details: Inclusive of 30% shift premium & dependent on experience
Requirements:
- Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, and bills of materials
- Operate computer-controlled surface mount assembly machinery to assemble surface mount technology printed circuit assemblies
- Monitor the process to ensure quality using inspection equipment
- Read machine error messages and correct placement & printing problems
- Hand place SMT parts accurately, ensuring correct polarity
- Kit and de-kit SMT placement machines and set up printing programs on automatic stencil printers
- Document work order aspects including run times, hand fits, and process deviations
