Our client is a large engineering firm who are looking to recruit semi-skilled fitters to join the team. We are looking for candidates with the right attitude, who want to learn and contribute to a team. You must be able to use hand tools and follow operating procedures. This is a safety critical environment so the necessity to follow standard operating procedures is paramount. You must have the flexibility to work a night shift - maximum 1 in 3 weeks. This is a long term temporary position with the potential of a permanent job.
Pay Rates: PAYE: £15.00 per hour. Overtime @ time & 3rd.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assemble parts and components into final products based on detailed instructions.
- Operate assembly line tools and equipment as required for the assembly process.
- Identify and report any issues or defects with components.
- Maintain accurate records of the assembly process.
Hours: Monday to Thursday. 07:00 - 15:00. Friday. 06:00 - 14:00.
