Semi Skilled Assembly Operative

Assembly Fitter. Initial 6 months contract. Days. 7am – 3pm. 37.5 hours per week. Assembly Fitter: Our client is a large engineering firm who are looking to recruit semi skilled fitters to join the team. We are looking for candidates with the right attitude, who want to learn and contribute to a team. You must be able to use hand tools and follow operating procedures. This is a safety critical environment so the necessity to follow standard operating procedures is paramount. You must have the flexibility to work a night shift – maximum 1 in 3 weeks. This is a long term temporary position with the potential of a permanent job. Assembly Fitter: Pay Rates: PAYE: £15.00 per hour. Overtime @ time & 3rd. Assembly Fitter: Responsibilities and Duties. Assemble parts and components into final products based on detailed instructions. Operate assembly line tools and equipment as required for the assembly process. Identify and report any issues or defects with components Maintain accurate records of the assembly process Hours. Monday to Thursday. 07:00 – 15:00. Friday. 06:00 – 14:00.
