Infrastructure Engineer Our client is a leading Structural and Civil Engineering design consultancy based in Leeds. They have an exciting opportunity for a Civil Design Engineer, with at least 3 years experience, to join their team. For the right candidate, this is an excellent opportunity for career development in a company which sees all its staff as key to its long term success. Role Requirements – Excellent communication skills – Experience working for a UK based civil engineering consultancy. – Proven track record in managing and exceeding clients’ expectations Key skills – Production of site appraisals, strategy and conceptual layouts/master planning for both drainage and highways infrastructure. – Earthworks cut and fill concept and detailed modelling. – Liaising with Water Companies, Local Authorities and the EA to agree drainage strategies and negotiation of discharges from development sites. – Non-major highways design and detailing and negotiation of works (Section 38, Section 278 works etc.). – Experience using AutoCAD, Civil3D, Causeway Flow software. – Private and Adoptable FW and SW drainage design and detailing (Section 104, Section 185 works etc. attenuation facilities pond, tanks swales etc., SUDS design and detailing) – Drainage hydraulic modelling using Microdrainage (Windes Package) For the right candidate they offer a competitive salary and 5 weeks holiday entitlement, and after a qualifying period a pension and profit share together with flexible working.
