Sue Ross Recruitment are working with a leading international company, who are manufacturers of a well-known DIY brand. They are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Representative to join their busy customer service team. This is a full-time hybrid role. You will be responsible for providing first class customer service and technical guidance, supporting both internal and external customers.
Responsibilities may include:
- Receiving customer orders via incoming mail, telephone, and/or electronic contact regarding the organisation's products and/or services.
- Ensuring all orders received are entered into the ERP by order cut-off time.
- Resolving questions and complaints within set timeframes.
- Assisting with reviewing and coordinating customer service activities pertaining to shipping, plant schedules, inventory levels, and sales activities by reviewing reports, orders, shipments, and other information as required or directed by management.
- Identifying customer issues that need to be escalated to management in a timely fashion.
- Developing and reviewing correspondence and documentation as appropriate regarding interaction with customers and responding to questions and concerns.
- Building relationships with internal departments to ensure best service to end customers is achieved.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 1-2 years of progressive customer service experience.
- Providing high standards of customer service.
- Resolving customer problems and concerns.
- Working with other departments and divisions.
- IT skills; ERP (SAGE and/or SAP beneficial), Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); and other applications as required.
- Having a positive influence in the team.
- Fluency in Spanish would be highly advantageous but is not essential for this role.
