I am currently recruiting for a highly skilled plant fitter to join my client who is based in the Burscough area. My client is an industry leader within their sector and offers a great working environment and excellent benefits!
Salary: £35,000 to £40,000, dependant on experience.
Hours: Mon to Thurs 8am to 5.30pm, Fri 8am to 1.30pm.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in heavy plant
- Valid CSCS card
Key Tasks:
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, basic electrical, and engine problems
- Basic knowledge of telematics systems fitted to equipment
- Undertake inspections of plant and equipment using templates
- Perform basic weld repairs as required
- Maintain a log of personal tools
- Complete maintenance on heavy plant machinery
- Read drawings
This is a very physical environment and you will be required to complete a health check and pass a drug and alcohol test.
