I am currently recruiting for a highly skilled plant fitter to join my client who is based in the Burscough area. My client is an industry leader within their sector and offers a great working environment and excellent benefits!

Salary: £35,000 to £40,000, dependant on experience.

Hours: Mon to Thurs 8am to 5.30pm, Fri 8am to 1.30pm.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in heavy plant
  • Valid CSCS card

Key Tasks:

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, basic electrical, and engine problems
  • Basic knowledge of telematics systems fitted to equipment
  • Undertake inspections of plant and equipment using templates
  • Perform basic weld repairs as required
  • Maintain a log of personal tools
  • Complete maintenance on heavy plant machinery
  • Read drawings

This is a very physical environment and you will be required to complete a health check and pass a drug and alcohol test.
