With features like Catch Reports, Blueprints, and Rewards, the app aims to make every fishing trip more informed and enjoyable, embracing the future of fishing. Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Business Analyst at Go Catch Fish. The Business Analyst will be responsible for tasks such as analyzing data, interpreting trends, and using insights to improve the user experience of the fishing app. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and document business requirements, conduct business process analysis, and enhance the overall product offering. Qualifications Analytical Skills and Business Analysis expertise Strong Communication skills Understanding of Business Process and Business Requirements Ability to interpret data and trends Experience in conducting market research and analysis Knowledge of Agile methodologies Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field would be useful Elicits, analyses, specifies, and validates the business needs of stakeholders, be they customers or end user Collaborates with project sponsors to determine project scope and vision identifies project stakeholders and establishes customer classes, as well as their characteristics Conducts interviews to gather customer requirements via workshops, questionnaires, surveys, site visits, workflow storyboards, use cases, scenarios, and other methods Identifies and establishes scope and parameters of requirements analysis on a project-by-project basis to define project impact, outcome criteria, and metrics Works with stakeholders and the project team to prioritize collected requirements Researches, reviews, and analyzes the effectiveness and efficiency of existing requirements-gathering processes and develops strategies for enhancing or further leveraging these processes Participates in the QA of developed solutions to ensure features and functions have been enabled and optimised
