Correct PPE will be provided as this is a food factory, so company regulations must be adhered to.
Duties:- Feeding frozen food products onto a production line
- Feeding products into the portion saw
- Feeding trays into the tray sealer
- Packing into outer cases
- Palletising and wrapping finished cases
- Visually inspecting products at the feeding stage and removing any defective material
- Completing production paperwork as required for the tasks at hand
- Assisting in the collection and measurement of information related to cost, line performance, waste, and production output
- Carrying out line cleaning tasks of equipment and surrounding work areas as necessary
- Previous experience in a fast-paced and physical environment is desirable; however, on-the-job training is provided.
- Must be able to pick up smaller than average products (some products may be fiddly and difficult to handle).
