As an SEN Intervention Tutor, you'll be responsible for planning and delivering tailored lessons that bridge learning gaps, support developmental progress, and re-engage learners who have often experienced significant disruption to their education. This is an ideal opportunity for a qualified educator looking to step away from the classroom and make a profound individual impact.

Many of the pupils referred to us have complex SEN, SEMH needs, or may present with challenging behaviour. Some may require 2:1 support and have been out of education for a considerable period. This role demands a tutor who can reintroduce structure and routine, boost confidence, break down tasks into manageable steps, and support communication and language development.

Support is typically required in core subjects such as Maths and English, although the subject matter can vary depending on each pupil's needs. You will be supported by a Learning Delivery Manager who provides access to resources, assessment tools and guidance. If a pupil has a school placement, you'll also be able to collaborate with their teachers to align learning objectives.

Prospero Teaching is committed to supporting you in this role with regular check-ins and professional development to ensure that each young person receives the most effective, personalised education.
