We are looking for an enthusiastic Receptionist to join our established team here at Upper Eden Medical Practice, part time, with 24 hours per week available.
The role is ideal for someone who is reliable, flexible, a team player and enjoys working with the public. We require our reception team to work with autonomy and a high degree of confidentiality, sensitivity, discretion, empathy and tact.
You’ll be working as part of our reception team, and will contribute to delivering high-quality support for patients. We pride ourselves on being responsive, understanding, and doing the best that we can to address the needs of our patients, and are looking for someone like-minded to join us. We’re caring, inclusive, and a great bunch to work with.
24 hours per week available, Your main duties can include but are not limited to, greeting and directing patients, patient registration, booking appointments, processing of information (electronic and hard copy), assisting patients as required, answering the phones, administering repeat prescriptions, data entry, equipment checks, liaison with multi-disciplinary teams and general everyday administration duties.
You will be the central point of contact for patients and we need someone who can provide general assistance to the Practice team and project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone.
