We’re thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity to join us as a Band 2 Teaching role within the vibrant and dynamic area of study!
In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting the operational management of Electrical programmes within the Mechanical and Electrical Services department. You’ll have the chance to assist in managing staff and resources, ensuring top-notch excellence in teaching, learning, and assessment.
As a valued member of the area management team, you’ll work collaboratively with your colleagues, taking on flexible management responsibilities to drive effectiveness and innovation across the department and the College as a whole.
And, of course, you’ll be teaching Electrical Installation subjects, making a real impact on students\’ learning and their future careers. If you’re ready to take on this exciting challenge, we want you on our team!
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:
Qualified electrician with a Level 3 or higher qualification in Electrical Installation/Maintenance, including completion of the AM2 assessment and an NVQ.
Minimum of Level 2 qualification in English and Mathematics (GCSE Grade 4+ or C and above, CSE Level 1, O-Level Grade C or above, Level 2 Adult Numeracy or Literacy, or an equivalent qualification).
A Level 5 Teaching Qualification, or commitment to complete within 3 years of employment or the first available course.
Proven experience in effectively managing staff or leading a team of programme staff.
Level 4 Internal Quality Assurer (must be obtained within the first 6 months of employment).
Evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
