Tractor Driver for Harvest / Autumn job - Suffolk

We are a 650 acre mixed farm near Bury St. Edmunds in Suffolk.

The arable is all combinable cropping operating modern machinery, some equipment is large for the size of farm. There is also some arable contract work, which could increase with the right candidate. The pigs

are straw based indoor contract grower/finishers.

Jobs required:

• Grain carting (John Deere 7R with 18 tonne Bailey Trailer)
• Heaping grain in store with JCB Telehandler and grain pusher
• Ploughing with 6 furrow plough
• Mintill with stubble cultivator and Sumo Trio
• Cultipressing with 5.5m Simba
• Rolling (with 12m rolls)
• Possible drilling with 6m Weaving Sabre Tine (no bout marking and tramlining as all done with GreenStar)
• Would be helpful if experienced with spraying, we use a trailed Chafer Sentry with JD 6R
• Some help with pigs on some mornings would also be good.

Applicants should be well motivated, understanding of John Deere GreenStar and have a keen eye for detail to land work.

The job is from July 2025 through to November 2025 and maybe beyond that. There is a possibility it could become full time for the right candidate. Also, there is availability to work February and March 2026.
