Do you enjoy fast paced work? Working with partners to ensure swift assessments at the very front door of children’s services? Then the MASH team could be the perfect fit.

You will be the first point of contact for incoming referrals, working in a supportive team that thresholds and decides the best pathways for referrals within tight deadlines in order to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Albeit experience in MASH will definitely give you a head-start, the team is happy to consider you if you have a demonstrable history of assessing and thresholding in a similarly paced children’s team.

The Council is dedicated to providing timely support for every child, aiming to ensure a happy and fulfilling life. This comes from focusing on continuous improvement, embracing effective social work practices (systemic practice & relational approach), and empowering staff to have a real impact on children’s lives. The team structure is carefully designed to support staff with manageable caseloads, including a Team Manager, Advanced Practitioner, and four Social Workers in each team.
