We have an excellent opportunity for a full-time Housekeeper / Cleaner to join our client's small housekeeping team in Romsey, Hampshire. The facility has been awarded a CQC Good rating. Please note that our client is not offering sponsorship at this time, so only apply if you have eligibility to work in the UK.

Our client's team is dedicated to providing a high standard of care and dignity to their residents, some of whom have dementia. They believe everyone has the right to dignity, privacy, and respect, and pride themselves on delivering quality, considerate care in a safe, comfortable environment. Their modern, purpose-built 51-bed residential care home is located in the heart of Romsey, with excellent access links to Southampton, Winchester, Salisbury, and beyond.
About the role
- Cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchenettes, toilets, and public areas
- Restocking toiletries, soaps, towels, etc., as needed
- Assisting with laundry duties
- Using supplies efficiently and economically
- Keeping storage areas clean, tidy, and well-stocked
About you
To succeed in this role, the following qualities are desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided:
- Familiarity with infection control and hygiene procedures
- Knowledge of Health and Safety and COSHH regulations
- Previous cleaning experience
Salary & Rewards
The position is full-time (32.5 hours per week) offering £9.90 per hour, along with a generous benefits package.
