We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commissioning Engineer to join our team and play a crucial role in the successful commissioning of a water treatment plant in Leicestershire. You will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of this vital infrastructure project., * Commissioning Activities:

Execute commissioning plans and procedures for various mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control, and automation (MEICA) systems within the water treatment plant.

Conduct pre-commissioning inspections and testing of equipment and systems.

Perform functional testing and performance verification of all MEICA systems, including pumps, valves, filters, control panels, instrumentation, and SCADA systems.

Troubleshoot and resolve any issues identified during commissioning.

Prepare and maintain detailed commissioning records and documentation.

Coordinate with other engineers, contractors, and subcontractors during commissioning activities.

Safety and Compliance:

Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and procedures, including working in confined spaces, wearing personal protective equipment, and following company safety protocols.

Ensure all work is performed in a safe and compliant manner.

Quality Assurance:

Contribute to maintaining high quality standards during the commissioning process.

Ensure that all systems meet design specifications and performance requirements.

Identify and address potential quality issues.

Documentation:

Prepare and maintain detailed commissioning reports and documentation, including test results, defect logs, and handover documents.

Teamwork:

Collaborate effectively with other members of the commissioning team, project engineers, site supervisors, and contractors.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, or a related field) or equivalent experience.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in commissioning water treatment plants or similar infrastructure projects.

A strong understanding of MEICA systems and their integration within water treatment facilities.

Experience with commissioning testing procedures and methodologies.

Familiarity with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
