We are seeking to appoint a part time, permanent Catering Assistant with effect from 1st September 2025. The post is for 21 hours, 15 mins per week, term time only to include inset days. Hours of work 10.00 a.m. – 2.15 p.m.
We are also looking to appoint a Casual Catering Assistant. This post is to cover staff absence on an as and when required basis and will be on a casual contract.
The successful candidates will be required to carry out general kitchen duties and assist in food preparation under the general direction of the person in charge of the kitchen. Full training will be given.
The Dean Academy is an 11-16 school with approximately 750 students on roll in Lydney, in the beautiful Forest of Dean. As a small, local and fully comprehensive school, The Dean Academy is part of the highly successful Athelstan Trust.
