Optum is looking for an experienced, curious and self-motivated individual to join a team that will be responsible to partner with the business, build strong relationships, collaborate on opportunities, and provide subject matter expertise in terms of Reporting, Analytics and Business Intelligence solutions.The successful candidate will contribute bringing reporting solutions to our customers and support our organization creating and maintaining clear, strategic vision and a plan for bringing actionable, innovative analytics and reporting solutions to market. We are looking for people who can collaborate cross-functionally, demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, have proven experience, and the ability to operate flexibly in a rapidly changing work environment. Primary Responsibilities: Learn the complexities of the US Healthcare system Build, test and maintain data firewalls in collaboration with our Tech teams and impacted stakeholders Understand the process and oversee the onboarding of new clients into the organization Create and externalized contractually obliged reporting for our clients Create innovative reporting and analytics on our clients’ financial and drug utilization trends and performance metrics, enabling them to reach their goals. Build an internal network and understand the purpose and function of the teams who also support our clients Identify challenges and opportunities, develop solution and communicate to clients and internal stakeholders Perform analytics in line with organizational best practice, ensuring cross-functional alignment on methodologies You will be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role, as well as providing development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: Experience in Data Analytics / Finance / Business intelligence roles or similar Experience analyzing data to develop business insight and strategy Complex problem-solving skills Proven ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams or departments for business growth or profitability goals Proven Data experience, data extraction, transformation and reporting Excellent understanding and knowledge of SQL Experience with Data visualization tools (Power BI / Tableau) Preferred Qualifications: Ability to code in scripting languages (Python / R) Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to translate complex analytic results into meaningful insight, conveying complex or technical information in a manner that others can understand Strong ability to plan and manage numerous processes, people, and projects simultaneously Experience with Public Cloud technologies such as (Databricks, Azure, GCP, AWS) Using AI to improve processes External client management and reporting Please note you must currently be eligible to work and remain indefinitely without any restrictions in the country to which you are making an application.
