We are seeking a skilled Metal Worker for a permanent role in a design and manufacturing company based close to the Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham.
Working hours are 39 hours per week, days, Monday to Friday.
Role Overview
Working within a small team of metalworkers to create bespoke metalwork structures such as shopfronts, canopies and staircases. Working to a very high standard with a variety of different metals as per customer requirements.
Working with the following:
- Brass
- Bronze
- Aluminium
- Stainless and Mild Stell varying in thickness from 1.2 to 6mm.
- Vertical and horizontal band saws.
- Pedestal drillers.
Experience with welding/brazing is advantageous but not essential.
Candidate Specification
- Minimum 2 years\’ experience in a similar role.
- Experience in a bespoke engineering/metalwork environment.
