This respected offshore law firm is keen to bolster its Bermuda-based dispute resolution practice with the addition of two experienced litigation lawyers. It is an opportunity to join an impressive directory-recommended team, advising international and Bermudian clients on a broad range of contentious work. The openings are for: Commercial Litigation Lawyer (Barrister/Advocate) Your practice will span insolvency, banking, regulatory and data protection work, as well as high-value commercial/contractual matters. You will be involved in conducting cases at various levels of court so you will need to be a proven advocate. Trust Litigation Lawyer (Barrister or Solicitor) You will focus on high-value and complex trust disputes in what is one of the world’s premier locations for private wealth work. It is a varied role with trust litigation at its core but with some involvement in general commercial litigation and in matrimonial matters (particularly in a trust context). The successful candidates will join a small, friendly team with a thriving practice, that wins plaudits for the calibre of work it does, and for its outstanding client service. You can expect a competitive low tax salary and relocation package. Requirements You will be Commonwealth qualified with strong relevant experience. It is anticipated that the roles will suit lawyers with around 5 to 8 years’ PQE, but all applications are welcome (note that a minimum of 3 years’ PQE is required for work permit reasons). You will be technically strong with good communication skills and a desire to contribute to practice development and client management efforts.
