Advance Your Clinical Expertise in a Specialist Functional Assessment Role
We are seeking experienced adult-registered clinicians with advanced competencies in functional capacity evaluation, clinical reasoning, and objective health assessment to join a structured, multidisciplinary service delivering high-quality, evidence-informed assessments. This is a non-interventional role focused on evaluating the functional impact of complex medical conditions. It is ideally suited to clinicians who excel in analytical assessment, critical thinking, and professional reporting—without the demands of ongoing caseload management, treatment planning, or shift-based work.
Essential Requirements:
- Current and active registration (Adult scope only): NMC: RN, RGN, RNLD, RMN; HCPC: Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Paramedic, or Pharmacist
- Minimum 12 months post-registration experience
- At least 1 year of recent, hands-on clinical practice in adult healthcare: acute, community, mental health, A&E, neurorehab, or complex care
- Proficiency in functional assessment, history-taking, and evidence interpretation
- High standard of written clinical documentation
- Competence with digital systems and remote assessment tools
- Applicants must reside within commuting distance of one of the following locations in the Kent region: Canterbury, Chatham, Ashford, Tunbridge Wells, or Hastings

Role Summary:
- Conduct structured, biopsychosocial consultations (telephone, video, and face-to-face)
- Assess functional impact of chronic, neurological, psychiatric, and musculoskeletal conditions
- Produce clear, well-reasoned clinical reports used in statutory decision-making
- Work within a governed, multidisciplinary team framework focused on quality and integrity
Working Pattern:
- Full-time: Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:00
- Part-time available post-training
- 70% home-based / 30% site-based
Salary & Benefits:
- £39,500 – £41,500 annual salary
