RecruitAbility are looking for an experienced warehouse operative to join their client's well-established business in Elsenham. If you have the right experience and are a team player, then I’d love to hear from you.

The Role of Warehouse Operative:

  • Stock: Maintaining inventory accuracy, including inventory checks.
  • Loading and Unloading: Handling goods, including loading/unloading delivery vehicles and moving items throughout the warehouse.
  • Equipment Operation: Safely operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment.
  • Picking and Packing Orders: Accurately selecting and packing customer orders for shipment.
  • Safety and Compliance: Adhering to health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Team Collaboration: Working with team members to meet daily productivity targets and process improvements.

To be considered for Warehouse Operative:

  • Fork Truck Licence: Counter Balance and/or Reach
  • Physical Fitness: Ability to lift, move, and stand for extended periods.
  • Attention to Detail: Accuracy in picking, packing, and inventory accountability.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify, report and/or resolve issues related to stock or equipment.
  • Communication: Clear communication with team members and supervisors.
  • Computer Literacy: Proficiency in using warehouse/goods in-out systems.
  • Safety Awareness: Strong commitment to safety protocols and procedures.

You must be able to drive and have your own transport, due to the location of the office.

The Package for Warehouse Operative:

  • Salary: Ā£27,500 per annum
  • Hours: Mon - Fri 8:30am – 5pm
  • Performance related bonus
  • 23 days holiday, plus bank holidays
  • Pension
