This organisation is internationally recognised for its expertise in digital investigations, supporting legal, regulatory, and corporate clients across a broad range of sectors. Their team handles matters including data breaches, internal investigations, IP disputes, and fraud cases, among others. Key Responsibilities of a Digital Forensic Consultant: Lead forensic investigations independently, ensuring best practices in evidence handling and analysis. Perform digital collections both remotely and onsite, using industry-standard tools. Analyse data from a wide range of digital sources (mobile, desktop, laptop, servers). Prepare thorough, well-structured forensic reports suitable for legal and non-technical audiences. Present findings to clients and help translate technical conclusions into business-relevant language. Attend client sites for collections when needed – frequency may vary (e.g., Key Requirements of a Digital Forensic Consultant: Demonstrated experience running digital forensic investigations from start to finish. Proficiency with key forensic tools (e.g., Strong knowledge of Windows, Mac, and Linux systems from a forensic perspective. 5-hour commute of central London and open to occasional onsite travel.
