Key Responsibilities of a Digital Forensic Consultant:

  • Lead forensic investigations independently, ensuring best practices in evidence handling and analysis.
  • Perform digital collections both remotely and onsite, using industry-standard tools.
  • Analyse data from a wide range of digital sources (mobile, desktop, laptop, servers).
  • Prepare thorough, well-structured forensic reports suitable for legal and non-technical audiences.
  • Present findings to clients and help translate technical conclusions into business-relevant language.
  • Attend client sites for collections when needed - frequency may vary (e.g., none for two weeks, then three in one week).
