About the Role:
We are seeking a Staff Transport Driver to join our team. This role involves transporting regional staff between Newcastle and Harbottle (Northumberland), ensuring safe, comfortable, and punctual travel to and from work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport Careline staff between specified locations in a safe and timely manner
- Maintain daily vehicle logs, mileage records, and report any defects or issues immediately
- Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and roadworthy
- Promote a calm, friendly, and professional environment during travel
- Be flexible and responsive to scheduling needs based on service demand
About you:
- A full UK manual driving licence (held for at least 2 years, with no more than 3 penalty points)
- Previous driving experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible availability between Monday and Sunday (specific shift patterns discussed at interview)
