Bio Chain Manager

The Bio-Chain Manager will oversee the integration of biofuels for road fleets, aviation, and marine operations. This role requires collaboration with procurement, operations, finance, pricing, and product teams to ensure cost-effective and sustainable biofuel solutions. Job Description • Identify and purchase biofuels with the right provenance to ensure sustainability and compliance with environmental standards. • Collaborate with the procurement team to source the best biofuel options available in different regions globally. • Develop and implement strategies to integrate biofuels into the company\’s road fleet operations. • Work closely with the operations team to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of biofuels in all vehicles. • Partner with operations, products, pricing, finance, and procurement teams to identify and implement the best biofuel solutions for aviation and marine sectors. • Facilitate communication and coordination among departments to ensure alignment and efficiency in biofuel usage. • Conduct market research to stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in biofuels. • Develop long-term strategies to enhance the company\’s biofuel procurement and integration processes. • Ensure all biofuel procurement and usage comply with relevant environmental regulations and standards. • Prepare and present regular reports on biofuel usage, cost savings, and environmental impact to senior management. • Collaborate with the strategy team to drive strategic initiatives. Job Requirements – Experience and Education • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemical, or a related field with 8 to 10 years of experience. • Strong understanding of biomass supply chains, including feedstock sourcing, fuels, bio certification, basic carbon accounting for low carbon fuels, logistics processing and distribution. • Expertise in evaluating the lifecycle emissions of bio-based products • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks, certifications and standards • Experience in assessing the economic viability and scalability of bio-based products • Competence in engaging with stakeholders across the value chain. • Strong communication and negotiation skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
