As a Senior Staff Nurse, you'll play a vital role in the Paediatric Neuro-rehab & Complex Care team:
- Support and mentor junior nurses, guiding them with your clinical expertise
- Lead the unit in the absence of the Sister/Charge Nurse
- Develop and evaluate holistic care plans for children in partnership with a multidisciplinary team
- Participate in audits and quality improvement projects
- Ensure high standards of clinical governance and patient care
- NMC Child Registered Nurse qualification with immediate paediatric life support
- Experience in Paediatric Neurorehabilitation and complex care
- Proven ability to supervise and assess students and lead shifts
- Experience with tracheostomised patients is a plus
- Strong understanding of safeguarding issues
- A background in teaching and mentoring
- Excellent communication skills and clinical governance experience
