Job Opportunity: TIG Welder Fabricator

Type: Permanent

Location: Warwick (commutable from Kenilworth, Long Itchington, Wellsbourne, Stratford upon Avon and surrounding areas)

Salary: Up to £18.00 per hour

Details: Interviewing immediately. Working hours are 07:30 to 16:00, Monday to Thursday, and 07:00 to 12:00 on Friday. Overtime paid at a premium.

Job Purpose

Report to the Fabrication Supervisor and perform TIG welding of stainless steel (1mm - 6mm). Read and interpret engineering drawings.

Candidate Requirements

  • Ability to TIG weld stainless steel 1mm - 6mm
  • Experience with TIG welding 12mm - 15mm is an advantage
  • Experience in TIG welding aluminium is an advantage
  • Basic knowledge of MIG welding is an advantage
  • Skilled, apprentice-trained fabricator capable of reading engineering drawings and handling varied jobs and materials
  • Over 4 years of industry experience in welding and fabricating stainless steel (desired but not essential)
  • Experience in bespoke, one-off welding and fabrication
  • Ability to create cutting lists from manufacturer drawings
  • Experience with Purge Welding Process
  • Ability to work independently
  • Driving license is advantageous
