Our client is looking for a skilled Press Brake Operator to join their team. As a Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating a press brake machine to bend, form, and fabricate sheet metal into various components.

This is a permanent full-time position – 39 hours a week in Shirebrook/Langwith, Derbyshire. Permanent afternoons, 2pm to 10pm.

Duties:

  • Set up and operate press brake machinery to bend and form sheet metal according to engineering drawings
  • Fabricate sheet metal components using hand tools and various tooling
  • Weld and grind components as needed for assembly
  • Perform basic mathematical calculations to ensure accurate measurements and angles
  • Assemble fabricated parts into finished products
