As a Security Supervisor (Team Leader), you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for our guests and team members. Supporting the Security Manager and Director of Security, you will oversee daily security operations, ensuring the highest standards of safety, discretion, and service are maintained at all times.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and supervising the on-shift security team to ensure effective coverage and performance
- Monitoring and managing access control, CCTV, and fire alarm systems
- Responding to incidents and emergencies in a calm, professional manner
- Coordinating shift handovers, patrols, and daily operational briefings
- Maintaining clear and accurate security and incident reports
- Supporting investigations and liaising with relevant authorities when necessary
- Ensuring full compliance with health, safety, and licensing laws
- Participating in risk assessments and emergency preparedness initiatives
- Assisting in training and mentoring new security team members
What We're Looking For:
- Valid DS Level SIA Licence (required)
- Proven experience in a supervisory or team lead security role, preferably in luxury hospitality
- Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills
- Calm under pressure with strong situational awareness
- A professional and discreet presence with a guest-first mindset
- Knowledge of UK safety regulations, emergency procedures, and incident reporting standards
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
