What you will do as a Beverage Manager:

  • Lead and manage beverage operations across the hotels dynamic outlets and events.
  • Ensure a bold, creative, and guest-focused beverage experience that reflects the Andaz spirit of individuality and East London energy.
  • Collaborate closely with outlet managers and the wider Food & Beverage team to deliver seamless day-to-day operations and exceptional service.
  • Curate and regularly refresh beverage menus, incorporating innovative cocktails, sustainable practices, and local influences.
  • Work with the culinary and marketing teams to launch seasonal campaigns, bespoke pairings, and interactive beverage experiences.
  • Monitor beverage cost, inventory, and wastage across all hotel, using data and insights to drive efficiency and profitability.
  • Analyse performance reports to identify trends and opportunities, contributing to budgeting and forecasting.
  • Support with the recruitment, training, and ongoing development of a diverse and passionate beverage team, inspiring them to deliver standout guest interactions.
  • Lead by example on the floor, nurturing a collaborative, inclusive, and high-energy culture in line with the Andaz ethos.
  • Conduct regular team briefings and training to drive knowledge, confidence, and engagement.
  • Ensure all beverage operations comply with licensing, health and safety standards, and brand guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate stock records, supplier relationships, and ordering systems, championing quality and sustainability.
  • Contribute to the planning and delivery of vibrant private events and brand activations, ensuring memorable guest experiences from pre-function drinks to last orders.
  • Be a visible presence across the hotels venues, engaging with guests, encouraging feedback, and adding a personal touch to the beverage journey.
  • Champion originality and creativity across the beverage offering, driving guest loyalty and team pride through storytelling, flair, and innovation.
