ICB Distillers, part of Fortitude Spirits Group (formally known as Intercontinental Brands / ICB) are currently recruiting a Production Shift Manager on a full-time permanent basis.
Main Purpose:
Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager you will lead and manage the performance and output of the production teams, determining and allocating resources as required. Responsible for maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and audit compliance.
Duties:
- Responsible for all shift & Engineering operations and execution of plan to produce the highest quality products in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective way.
- Maintain a balanced scorecard against KPIs to drive further growth across the site.
- Manage employees in accordance with the company policies and procedures.
- Provide leadership, set standards and direction in the development of a Continuous Improvement culture for both performance and food safety.
- Participate in Factory audits supporting the Technical Team to ensure compliance.
- Maintain high standards of GMP within the Production Department.
- Maintain good communications with other departments and work together to solve problems.
- Support the Line Leaders in their roles and act as a role model within the department.
- Produce production reports for your shift and participate in weekly and monthly management meetings.
- Support the Production Trainer with SSOW and training.
- Motivate, Coach and Develop teams.
Experience:
- 5+ years demonstrable management experience in a food or drink manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of BRC and Customer audits.
- Experience of liquid processing, filling and automation (desirable).
- Experience of beverage canning lines (desirable).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Computer literate.
- Knowledge or experience of continuous Improvement.
- Experience of managing teams of up to 25 employees.
