Job Title: Senior Analyst Job Description You will report to the EMEA Collections Supervisor based in Dow Jones London Office, UK. About the Job: As part of our busy EMEA Credit Control Team, we are looking for a candidate fluent in French with collections or customer service experience, who is a quick learner and can adapt rapidly in a friendly but busy environment. You will be responsible for all aspects related to your ledger, including other countries in the EMEA region besides France, by taking full ownership of your assigned accounts. Our Collections Team values teamwork and developing strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders as key to success. Key Accountabilities Support the Supervisor in daily cash collection tasks. Assist the regional Supervisor with regional or cross-regional projects and reporting as required. Maintain a positive, efficient attitude and approach problems proactively. Manage a collections project or process to enhance departmental effectiveness and efficiency. Apply collections strategies proactively to reduce DSO and efficiently collect overdue invoices. Identify and recommend process improvements and strategies for problematic customers or regions. Build customer relationships via phone and email to ensure good communication and mitigate risks of late payments or disputes. Maintain client confidentiality and deliver professional customer service. Foster strong relationships with internal teams such as Sales, Dispute, Billing, AR, and Customer Service to resolve issues promptly. Identify and report potential risks early to the Collections Supervisor. Keep detailed notes and client information in the Collections tool. Notify sales representatives and the Collections Supervisor of significant account changes. Comply with company policies, team procedures, and SOX requirements. Meet monthly cash collection targets in a transparent and timely manner. Collaborate with the Accounts Receivable team to ensure accurate cash allocation. Perform other duties as required. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Fluent in written and spoken English and French. Fluency in Spanish, Portuguese, or Arabic is a plus. 5-7 years of experience in a busy credit control environment. SAP knowledge is preferred but not essential. Proficiency in Excel is advantageous. Strong analytical skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Well-organized with good priority management. Excellent communication skills. Team player.
