The Big Fresh Catering Company provides healthy nutritious school meals at lunchtime, which is compliant with the Food and Nutrient standards set by the Welsh Government’s Healthy Eating in Schools (Nutritional Standards and Requirements) (Wales) Regulations 2013.

In addition to this, we also provide a high quality Buffet/Function service to our schools, Café at the Penarth Pier Pavilion, weddings, external customers and companies.

About the role

Pay Details: Grade 1, SCP 2, £24,309 (Pro Rata), £12.60ph
Hours of Work / Working Pattern: 5 Days – 10hrs per week, term time only
Main Place of Work: Evenlode Primary School
Temporary Reason: N/A (Permanent)

Description: Enthusiastic Catering Assistant with duties including setting up of dining hall, serving meals, washing up and clearing away equipment/surrounding area in Evenlode Primary School.

• Ability to assist in all areas of the kitchen to achieve the required standards
• Approachable manner
• Commitment and teamwork towards the service
