At Home Instead, we’re dedicated to providing exceptional care for elderly clients, allowing them to stay independent in their own homes. Our award-winning family-run service is part of Home Instead, the UK’s leading home care provider.
You will be living 24/7 with the client on a rota basis (2 weeks on, 2 weeks off), supporting their needs and requirements in their own home. This could include:
- Companionship care
- Personal care
- Moving and handling
- Medication support – prompting and administration
- Cooking and housekeeping
As a live-in carer, we would like you to be adaptable, personable, and, most importantly, willing to put the client first. The goal is to help the client live as independently as possible in their home with our support.
Applicants must also be able to speak Punjabi.
Qualifications:
- Ability to communicate effectively with both families and professionals, and work well within a team.
- Reliability and a commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of others.
- Due to the responsibilities associated with this role, candidates must have a minimum of 6 months of professional caregiving experience.
- Candidates with a full UK driving license and access to their own vehicle would be preferred for some placements, but not mandatory.
- We do not offer sponsorship for this role at this time, so candidates must have the right to work in the UK.
