Job Description: Eddie Stobart are currently looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers to join their growing team in Bellshill (ML4 3NH). The role is based on a Morrisons site in Bellshill and will involve store deliveries and general haulage using a variety of Morrisons and ESL kit. This role may include manual handling. There is also an opportunity to be trained on the Rail side (Containers).

Shifts Available: Any Shift Pattern - 08:00am-10:00am start window. Any 5 from 7 - 22:00pm-02:15am (Except Monday-Friday). Please enquire within your application if you're looking for a different shift to above, as we may be able to accommodate.

Salary: From £39,504 per annum depending on shift pattern and start time and based on average hours worked of 54 per week and 64 per week for Trampers. Mon-Fri Days - £14.00 per hour (including Meal allowance). Mon-Fri Night Shift - £15.30 per hour (including Meal allowance). Saturday and Sunday Day Shift - £17.00 per hour (including Meal allowance). Saturday and Sunday Night Shift - £17.50 per hour (including Meal allowance). Bank Holidays - £17.81 per hour (including Meal allowance).

Qualifications:

  • 1 year Class 1 experience.
  • You should hold a valid HGV 1/C+E Licence, DCPC & Tacho Card.
  • No more than 6 points on your Licence with no DD/ DR Code convictions.
  • Understand and able to comply with Driver's hours and WTD legislation.
  • Able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctly.
  • Should comply with on-site health and safety requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills.
