What You’ll Bring:
KCS Education are looking for a punctual and reliable individual to join their team, delivering educational supplies to their customers across Kent, Sussex and Surrey. The successful candidate will need to be able to work on own initiative and keep customer satisfaction at the forefront of their mind.
What You’ll Achieve:
- Conduct pre-journey vehicle checks and report any defects to the Transport Manager or authorized deputy
- Comply with road transport legislation, including EU driver hours, tachograph rules, and working time regulations
- Inform the Transport Manager of any changes to your driving licence, endorsements, or medical conditions that may affect your ability to drive
- Deliver orders to customers according to their instructions, while maintaining service standards
- Complete all delivery paperwork accurately, report discrepancies, and provide customer feedback during debriefs
