Are you a recent UK based graduate with a passion for supporting children that have complex learning difficulties?

Perhaps you’re currently working as a day to day Supply TA, and would prefer a full-time role at a wonderful primary school in the B6 area of Birmingham for the remainder of the academic year?

In this role as a Special Needs Mentor, the successful candidate will be required to provide dedicated 1:1 & small group academic, social and emotional support to children with complex learning difficulties in a full-time role for the remainder of the academic year, within the schools EYFS department.

Special Needs Mentor – Role Information:

  • Special Needs Mentor
  • Located in Birmingham (B6)
  • Providing 1:1 & small group classroom support to EYFS children with SEN
  • Working alongside class teacher following guided Education Care Plan
  • Paid Β£460 per week during term time – Online CPD course included
  • Monday to Friday role – April 2025 to July 2025
  • Working hours: 08.30am – 15.30pm

  • Special Needs Mentor – Applicant Requirements:

  • Minimum 2:2 UK based degree
  • Prior experience working with children or young people
  • Strong communication and organisation skills
  • Resilient and outgoing individual
