The Role: Our expanding site in York, is currently recruiting for a Sample Materials Coordinator to join the Biopharmaceutical Chemistry Manufacturing Controls (BiopharmCMC) division. The Sample Materials Coordinator role will be based both in a lab environment and also in the office, making this the perfect dual role. Job responsibilities include: Receiving materials and samples for the department and updating the LIMS (Laboratory Management Information System). Maintaining lab stock levels. Booking scientific samples into studies for analytical testing for the CMC department. Stock counting and placing orders to replenish stock. Aliquoting and preparing samples for testing. Supporting sample and materials management and the wider CMC scientific team to ensure samples are tested in the allocated time frame. Administrative duties. About You: The successful candidate will be educated to A Level or equivalent in an appropriate scientific subject, this can be substituted with relevant job experience. You will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, time management and organisational skills in an environment that requires you to be flexible and meet specific timelines.
