Do you have industry experience in health and safety risk management who can support the development of the Aviva Risk Management Solutions (ARMS) Casualty Classes proposition this would include technical guides and education programmes for Aviva clients? If so, then this is the role for you! We are looking for a Technical Solutions Consultant to provide health and safety technical advice and support, problem solving and collaborative working to assist our UK underwriting team and clients. This is a great job for someone to work alongside an industry leading, innovative, creative and experienced team, in delivering Aviva’s prevention led risk management philosophy to our global corporate and specialty (GCS) clients! This role is homebased, with regular travel throughout the UK to clients. A bit about the job: Developing and delivering market leading Casualty risk management, technical subject matter guides (Loss Prevention Standards), for both internal and external stakeholders. Identifying current and emerging risks across various industries, to provide innovative and cutting-edge risk management solutions to align with clients business objectives and reduce losses. Creating an end to end education package for Aviva Risk Consultants and our clients. To maintain current industry and technical knowledge and client requirements the role will involve, client facing risk consultancy for up to 30% of the role. Work collaboratively with the wider Casualty ARMS Team, to ensure that projects and technical outputs are delivered, as required. Skills and experience we’re looking for: A Chartered Member of IOSH (CMIOSH) or working towards, who maintains and develops their technical knowledge, personal expertise, keeps abreast of current developments, changes in legislation and industry risk management trends. Ability to strategically analyse complex information to draw out relevant facts that can be presented as technical guides with potential solutions to effectively improve the risk quality. Effective presentation skills along with the ability to develop and deliver training courses/workshops along with influencing and negotiating skills. Strong administrative and time management skills, able to actively organise workload, diaries to achieve timely workflow. Excellent multitasking skills with the ability to manage priorities and ensure deliverables are on time, to a consistently high standard.
