Project Specification Manager – National Role (UK-Wide)
ASR International is delighted to be working on behalf of a leading European manufacturer to appoint a Project Specification Manager. This is a pivotal role aimed at driving project-led growth and strengthening specification partnerships across the UK.

The Opportunity
We’re seeking a dynamic and results-driven Project Specification Manager to lead the development of new project pipelines and support ongoing specification work nationwide. Focused on the South East and London region. You will be responsible for winning specifications at early stages and managing relationships with key decision-makers through the full project lifecycle.
This field-based role offers the opportunity to work across multiple sectors—residential, hospitality, commercial, and public sector—while partnering closely with internal and external teams to ensure flawless delivery and long-term success.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage specifications across a broad project base, working with architects, designers, developers, contractors, and merchant partners.
- Identify new project opportunities and secure specifications in early design stages through to completion.
- Collaborate with commercial, contracts, and technical teams to manage timelines and client expectations.
- Attend client meetings, site visits, and key industry events to enhance the company’s presence and secure long-term partnerships.
- Maintain and grow existing relationships while consistently generating new business and improving win rates.
- Deliver insights from the market to inform internal strategy and product development.
Ideal Experience & Background
- Previous success in a specification-led sales role within the interiors is essential.
- A well-established network within the specification and design community—architects, developers, main contractors, and procurement consultants.
- Understanding of the full specification process, including pricing structures, rebate agreements, and project tendering.
- Skilled in pipeline management using CRM tools and confident working across long lead-time projects.
- Able to travel nationally and manage your own schedule effectively.
