Job Description
The Commercial discipline is responsible for driving business growth, managing partnerships, and providing industry subjectâmatter expertise and advisory to both clients and internal teams. This strategic and consultative team creates meaningful relationships with clients through their combined knowledge of IT services and industry trends and pain points. Members include business development staff of all levels, client partners, alliances and partnerships managers, industry advisors, and operational leads.
As a Senior Business Development Manager at Endava, you will identify new clients, and introduce them to our capabilities and IT services. You\âll guide these new customers through the entire sales cycle, offering solutions that allow them to achieve business goals through enterprise transformation of their IT environment.
Responsibilities
Act as a trusted advisor, selling IT Professional Services and building longâterm client relationships.
Generate and qualify leads through outreach, networking, and research to maintain a strong sales pipeline.
Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, with a focus on strategic, highâvalue deals.
Leverage deep industry knowledge to position yourself as a Subject Matter Expert and drive revenue growth.
Engage in industry events and thought leadership opportunities, while benefiting from an aggressive commission model.
Qualifications
8â10+ years of new business development experience focused on selling IT solutions to solve customers\â business challenges.
Significant experience and network within one or more of the Provider, Medical Devices, or Biotech & Pharma industries, with a strong understanding of industry trends and challenges.
Experience leading strategic new business development initiatives to uncover opportunities with large enterprise clients.
Salesâdriven professional with hunterâcentric sales experience including prospecting, cold calling, qualifying leads, conducting sales presentations, negotiating, closing contracts, and building relationships.
Demonstrated track record of success in new business development, achieving ÂŁ5 M+ quota in first year and larger (ÂŁ20 M+) in subsequent years.
Additional Requirements
Travel is an integral part of this role and the individual will need to travel locally, within country, and internationally as needed; a valid passport/driving license and willingness to travel during working hours is required.
Workârelated tradeshows or live events may require the individual to occasionally lift 25 pounds.
