Our client, a respected international consultancy with 25+ years\’ experience, seeks a skilled Fire Engineer to focus on fire safety upgrades and remedial works within commercial refurbishment projects across the UK. This partially remote role is ideal for Midlands-based candidates to facilitate nationwide travel. Your Role Will Involve: Performing comprehensive fire safety assessments and site surveys. Creating and deploying effective fire safety strategies. Developing and critically reviewing fire protection system designs. Providing expert guidance on fire safety regulations and ensuring compliance. Overseeing and directing fire safety enhancements and necessary remedial works. Working closely with project teams and key clients. Guaranteeing all projects meet the highest fire safety benchmarks upon completion. What We\’re Looking For: A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Fire Engineer, ideally with a background in commercial refurbishment projects. In-depth knowledge of fire safety principles, regulations, and relevant British Standards. Appropriate fire safety qualifications (e.g., FDIS, IFE membership, or equivalent). Demonstrated ability to design and effectively implement fire safety solutions. Willingness and capacity to travel nationwide to various project sites. What\’s in it for you?
