The Maintenance Fitter will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of plant machinery and equipment throughout the sand business.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance & Repairs: Perform routine, preventative, and reactive maintenance on a wide range of mechanical equipment, including conveyors, pumps, crushers, screens, and hydraulics etc.
- Fault Finding & Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair mechanical faults to minimise downtime and ensure optimal plant performance.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to company safety policies, risk assessments, and safe working procedures, ensuring all work is carried out in line with relevant health and safety regulations.
Experience
Proven experience in a similar maintenance role within a quarry, sand plant, heavy industry, or manufacturing environment.
