Site Manager (Contract)

Design Build Search is seeking a Site Manager on a contract basis. Our client has been serving the Irish retail sector for over 70 years. They have established a reputation for being the market leader in full turnkey retail installations.

This position is best suited to an individual with a background in shopfitting.

Responsibilities:

• Liaising with clients and reporting on progress to project manager
• Supervising construction workers subcontractors
• Ordering/booking in materials for each phase of the project
• Monitoring project progress
• Conducting quality and safety inspections
• Checking and preparing site reports, designs and drawings
• Maintaining quality control checks
• Motivating the workforce
• Day to day problem solving and dealing with any issues that arise

Requirements:

• Computer literate and able to use email, excel, MS project etc.
• Knowledge of building, construction and retail
• Excellent time management and leadership skills
• Good communication skills
• Good initiative and logical thinking skills.
