Our Client: A leading UK investment casting manufacturer providing high-quality, bespoke components in a range of metals and alloys. The company focuses on tailored solutions, reliable service, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operational and administrative tasks related to the shipment and receipt of incoming supplies and finished products.
  • Use the Synchro system to verify and maintain accurate records of all incoming shipments.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels of incoming materials.
  • Address and resolve issues involving misdirected or incorrect deliveries.
  • Oversee the location, allocation, and movement of all parts and products to meet internal and external order requirements.
  • Inspect received materials for correct type and quantity, and report any missing, damaged, or faulty goods.
  • Conduct monthly stock counts of finished goods and report results to senior management.
  • Perform regular racking inspections.
  • Ensure daily housekeeping standards are maintained, keeping tools, materials, and equipment safe and secure.
  • Support yard and hygiene area maintenance as required.

Requirements:

  • A valid FLT (Forklift Truck) licence is essential.
  • Previous experience in order picking.
  • Familiarity with standard warehouse equipment.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Able to remain calm, confident, and logical under pressure, while responding with urgency when required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
