Reporting to: Employer
Location: Gillway, Tamworth
Rate of Pay: £12.00/hr
Nature of the job role: Working with me to assist and promote my independence using a relationship-based approach. This will include a variety of tasks, such as support to maintain my home environment, support to increase my skills and motivation to complete activities of daily living and begin to increase my confidence to access the local community.
Main Duties:
- Personal duties: Prompting me to manage my personal care needs independently (washing, changing clothes).
- Domestic duties: Supporting me to complete activities of daily living; this will include supporting me to prepare and cook meals, laundry, clean and maintain my home.
- Social Duties: Supporting me to begin to access and increase my confidence to access the local community.
- Any other reasonable duties that may be necessary.
Hours of work: 8 hours per week. 2 x 4 hour sessions to be arranged with employer. One session to be in the home and one session to access the community.
Qualifications: Skills & Experience: Skilled in interpersonal work with individuals experiencing a lack of motivation.
