Due to the continued growth and development of our dynamic, multi-disciplinary R&D team, we have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Data Analyst to join our newly defined clinical division.
The role involves:
- Working closely with Clinical Trials Specialists, Engineers, Researchers, and Commercial teams to support clinical trials and internal R&D initiatives, converting complex datasets into meaningful insights.
- Directly supporting product innovation, validation, and the development of patient-focused solutions that improve quality of life.
- Using modern data tools and techniques to transform, shape and model structured and unstructured data to support useful data insights and analytics.
- Collecting, cleaning and analysing clinical and performance data from gait lab assessments and prosthetic/orthotic devices as part of product trials and internal research studies.
- Using machine learning tools and statistical techniques to provide novel solutions to problems.
- Providing expertise in the creation of algorithms and machine learning models to support clinician use cases and improve clinical outcomes for patients.
- Exploring and investigating potential sources of data.
- Designing and iterating potential analytics strategies and methods to better understand behaviours, patterns and effects from available data.
- Visualising and presenting findings in a clear and accessible manner to non-technical teams.
- Contributing to scientific publications, whitepapers, and conference presentations.
- Ensuring data handling is compliant with regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO 14155).
- Supporting internal product validation processes through robust statistical analysis.
- Participating in risk analysis and usability assessments where relevant.
- Writing documents and reports to provide insights and information to key stakeholders.
- Applying appropriate controls on the access and use of data to adhere to GDPR and other patient data protection requirements.
