This is a role within a dynamic pharmaceutical company moving into a pre-launch setting and exciting new phase of growth who are looking for a strategic and operational leader to head up their Medical Affairs function. This is a chance to make a tangible impact on the business, the pipeline, and ultimately, patients’ lives, especially with their rare disease pipeline.
About the Role
- As Head of Medical Affairs, you’ll take ownership of the UK Medical and Regulatory Affairs teams, playing a key role in driving strategy, compliance, and collaboration across the business.
- You will be the go-to scientific authority, guiding cross-functional teams and bringing clarity to complex decisions.
- Providing expert insight into medical strategy, brand planning, and product positioning.
- Acting as final signatory, ensuring materials are fully ABPI compliant.
- Building strong, trusted relationships with KOLs, global partners, and advisory boards.
- Driving launch readiness for innovative products in the pipeline whilst also managing products in the market.
- Mentor, lead and develop the team to achieve operational excellence.
- Evaluating new business and product opportunities.
What You Bring:
