This traditional main contractor is looking for a Contracts Manager to oversee and ensure the successful delivery of projects. With a turnover in excess of £40M, its core business is the delivery of construction projects ranging in size from £50K - £5M including both refurbishment and new build. They carry out projects in all sectors of the market, the largest proportion being in education and industrial.
They are looking for a Contracts Manager who is experienced at looking after two to three projects at a time of varying values and complexities. You will be required to regularly visit all sites within your control; checking on programme and progress, the standard and quality of work, the management of safety, the adequacy and accuracy of records, efficiency, security, use of plant and materials, the correct use of sub-contractors and labour and the company’s image.
They are looking for an organised and self-motivated individual who fits the company ethic and outlook and is ambitious to succeed.
