We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, proactive and reliable security/caretaker to the current team as part of the Facilities Department. The successful applicant will be experienced and vocationally competent in a security or similar role with a front-line SIA qualification, able to work on their own or as part of a team in dealing with a wide and varied range of security issues and reporting them in line with procedure.

The successful applicant must have a valid full UK driving licence for manual transmission vehicles, the ability to manually handle large items, and be able to respond efficiently to assist with urgent security and caretaking matters is essential.

The successful applicant will be required to meet safeguarding targets once trained and contribute positively to the continuous improvement in quality and standard of service the team across the College. A flexible approach to work is required as additional hours and overtime may need to be worked to cover annual leave.
